Western Maryland 19th century farmhouse at family owned & operated Valley Meadow Farms is available for vacation rental
year round. The tin-roofed home has 11 rooms including 4 bedrooms upstairs, 1 bathroom downstairs, fully equipped kitchen,
dining room and family room and is surrounded by our 400 acre farm. Enjoy the peace & quiet from the wraparound front
porch or strolling down the private lane.
Get away from it all and enjoy hiking, walking, birding, cycling and the
outdoors as you enjoy
walking near spring-fed ponds, wonderful woodlands and beautiful hillsides and meadows. The ideal place for bird watching
and wildlife viewing. Nearby Hancock, MD is rich with canal activities, dining, antique stores, bicycling and railroad history.
Just across the Potomac River is Berkeley Springs, WV known for country dining, unique shops, spas and town browsing.
Rental rates for the farmhouse are $150 per night (2 night minimum) plus $50 cleaning
fee and taxes, or $975 per week (7 nights) plus $50 cleaning fee and taxes. Rates based on 1-4 people. Extra persons are $25
per person per night. Additional fees for those wishing to bring their horse for our newly created "bed & barn" guest reservation
option. Check-in at 3 p.m., check-out by 12 noon. Reservations must be guaranteed by check or money order. A non-refundable
deposit (one night fee) is required within 7 days of making telephone or email reservation. Bed
and bath linens are provided. The farmhouse is not easily accessible to handicapped persons. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
